REVELATION / REVOLUTION

Our new Upper Room series - REVELATION / REVOLUTION - begins Sunday, September 14th!  Join us as we dive into Christ's letters to the 7 churches in the New Testament Book of Revelation and explore what they have to say to us today.

DON'T MISS THIS IMPORTANT NIGHT!

At both gatherings on September 14th, we are going to be talking about the future relationship between CPC and Upper Room.  For the past year and a half, CPC and Upper Room have been engaged in conversations about what the relationship between our two congregations can look like into the future; we've benefited from strong ties in the past and have been asking about how we can sharpen each community's missional effectiveness in this next season.  Over the past few months, the respective staffs, the Session and the D-Team feel as though we've begun to get some clarity on this question – and we'd like to update you on the exciting places that God is leading both communities.  So, please be sure to put Sunday, September 14th on your calendars.

Meal Groups - Fall 2008 Season

Meal Groups

Meal Groups are the primary way that the Upper Room community can start to feel and become smaller, as groups of 8-10 people meet throughout the week to develop new and deeper friendships and to engage in activities that we believe are important in our spiritual formation as a community and as individuals. Meal Groups are also great spaces to invite friends into who might not be a part of our community.

Our Fall 2008 Season of Meal Groups kicks-off on September 23, at Meal Link. Meal Link is an opportunity for everyone who registers to be a part of a Meal Group to meet your group for the first time, share dinner together, and choose your group's service project.

Online registration for Meal Groups is now open. Click here to register.

This season, our Meal Groups will be using the DVD version of John Ortberg's The Life You've Always Wanted as the basis for discussion within our groups, in addition to participating in the Meal Group practices of sharing a meal, telling our stories, praying, and serving others.

For more information on Meal Groups, Meal Link, the structure, and other details, go to our Meal Groups page.

After you register and pay for your Meal Link ticket online, you can pick up your ticket at the Meal Groups table in the Great Room on Sundays, September 7, 14, & 21.
